Michele & Aaron are engaged to be married in May & they wanted their engagement session to be extra special so since they met in college at Pepperdine University in Malibu we decided it would be awesome to shoot their session right there around the campus and on the beach which is right across the street (I think I went to the wrong college :-) This fun loving couple was a blast to work with, and I am SO looking forward to their wedding!
Yes, Aaron IS quite strong (former Rugby player) ....and Michele has the lithe, grace of a ballerina :-)
Aaron schools Michele on heel clickers, while pulling some massive air....I sense we'll be seeing more of these come the wedding day

Jacqueline & Miguel were married in Fresno on November 7th at St. John's Cathedral. I got to know Miguel a while back through a professional business association so I was honored when he called me up one day to tell me they were just engaged & he wanted me to shoot for him. Needless to say, I feel a close connection with both Miguel & Jackie and I had such a blast running around town capturing the moment with these two beautiful young people! Nothing beats a fall wedding late afternoon when the rich fall colors are at their peak....

I've enjoyed getting to know Nancy & Moses over the past year and a half.....they have been planning this day for a long time and I think I was just as excited as they were to see everything come together so beautifully! We began the morning shooting in her Sister's home where Nancy got ready.

They were married at
First Armenian Presbyterian Church in Fresno. Their ceremony was beautiful...spoken in the traditional Armenian and in English. Nancy created some really cool personal touches to make the day so special.....this hand-painted aisle runner for example is an awesome idea...Moses even helped out painting this (way to raise the bar for the fellas Bro!).

They had the coolest vintage car to whisk them to the reception, which was held in Fresno at San Joaquin Country Club....a fantastic venue on the bluffs. This is definitely one of my favorites from the day...

We ducked outside the Clubhouse for a moment just as the sun was disappearing behind the bluffs, and caught this last hint of fall sunset light. A perfect ending to a fabulous day for Nancy & Moses. Congratulations you two!

Jennifer & Steve's wedding was held at Wolf Lakes Park in Sanger. I love shooting here....such a gorgeous setting for a wedding. Everything about this day was picture perfect. Jen & Steve were radiant & simply so happy to be joined together...their joy was evident in their faces and reminded me why I love to capture memories like these for clients.

We were out at Wolf Lakes Park in Clovis, where they will be married next month to capture some beauty shots of these two. This young couple from Merced was a blast to work with, and they are definitely mad in love. I'm really looking forward to their wedding!

Krystle & Valente were married at Holy Spirit Church in Fresno. We began the day with preparations at Krystle's home...
Her dress is absolutely gorgeous...what excellent taste!. ...and kudos to Madeleine's Bridal Boutique

Oliver the cat was a cool customer...he didn't seem phased at all by the mounting excitement around him
Valente was looking stylish & GQ.....he pretty much wore this smile all day long..... a VERY happy man.

Sho & Greg were married in Los Angeles at the United Armenian Church. We began shooting on the 17th floor of the Marriott, in the suite where Sho & her bridesmaids got ready.
Her dress was absolutely gorgeous - I love the traditional lines
Both Sho & her Mom are accomplished bakers, and they prepared some wonderful homemade delicacies to keep up everyone's energy
Sho's Dad got in on the action too - he shoots a pretty mean Canon 30D from what I hear...
Greg & his Men were looking sharp...
These two were adorable, and they took their duties very seriously
One of the coolest things about their ceremony was that her Dad is Senior Pastor of a Fresno church and so he was able to perform their wedding vows
I am so digging Greg's boots..... I must have a pair
Sho & Greg had the awesome idea of having us produce a life-size standup from their engagement session to display at the reception to greet their guests - a very cool and unique idea
Their reception was held at the Ararat Home of Los Angeles - great venue for a huge party...check out their head tables
The room literally erupted with the happy cheers of nearly 500 guests as they were officially announced
The dance floor was packed all night as guests young & old enjoyed live music from the Armenian folk band
Their cake, like everything during this day, was classic & elegant !
